Well.... The homosexual minority is a majority in most of the forms of the news and entertainment media.
The news and entertainment media is the 'power'.
We give it power much like the Romans who went to watch at the coliseum. We're even sacrificing the Christians, just like they did. Pretty much for the same reason.

Appearances can be deceiving. Don’t be deceived. There is right, and there is wrong. Homosexual behavior and the homosexual lifestyle is wrong. Standing in opposition to homosexual behavior is right.
