by the way, how do we ping?
So the way I read this the Jesuit Pope does not like the Conservative Anti-abortion American Cardinal?
I am of the mind that tis is a very dangerous papacy. The Jesuits have been a very poor example of Catholic orthodoxy for a very long time.
I thought that under Blessed John Paul II, the Jesuits got “cleaned up” bigtime.
Just typethe names of the people whose attention you want in the “To:” box separate with semicolons and post it.
Just like I did above. I just put Black Elk’s screen name in the box and hit post.
This is way too deep for me.
Let me know when the Church starts making Nuns Priests or starts marrying same sex couples, so I can find a new way to practice my faith.
Ping for later
I agree, shame though with other so called Christian churches turning from the Bible, the Catholic Church had a real opportunity to reclaim it’s mantle as the mother church. I am afraid it will lose all credibility as have Anglican and some Methodist and Lutherans.
And you know this because you started the fires for the black smoke and white smoke? LOL!
No way could you know this.
Hard to argue that. The brutal treatment he has unleashed upon the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate speaks for itself. Apparently he is more concerned with stamping out "pelagian" boogeymen than addressing actual corruption and decay within the Church. The fawning media coverage and the praise of him by pro-aborts and by marxists is another red flag. Christians are supposed to be signs of contradiction, hated by the world. Being selected "Person of the Year" by Time and "Person of the Year" by a major gay magazine as a result of soft-peddling Church teaching to the media is a bizarre accomplishment for a Pope.
“....so I can find a new way to practice my faith.”
.
Check the Creed that we recite at Sunday Mass. Has Francis changed any of it?
Until he does you can continue practicing your faith.
We have had outrageous popes in the past but none changed the articles of faith of the RC church.
True enough but this is the first Pope in this Catholic’s 70 year lifetime that is leaving me with a very queasy feeling in my stomach. I will give him another year or two but so far, his speeches and actions have been rather discomforting.
Is there a civilian review board for the Vatican that I'm not aware of?
Hugh mis-translation!
It is in the posted article.
OK, I'll wake you up within two years.
The Creed Pope Francis recites at Mass is far from the creed he speaks outside the Mass, in his interviews.
