About Ba’hai...
It was founded in the 19th century. I remember hearing about it some 40+ years ago when I was in college. It seemed harmless enough at the time, and was heavily persecuted in Iran.
It’s not clear that all of the things that you’ve cited are attached to Ba’hai as it originated (who knew about that list in the 19th century). Maybe Woodall has tacked them on, or maybe what is left of the religion has morphed. When I heard of it, it seemed like an offshoot religion concerned with personal experience of mysticism.
I’ve never heard any of the liberals I’ve met in the past decade or two say anything about Ba’hai. But, then, what do I know?
