donmeaker, I appreciate having a friendly “back and forth” on this subject matter and enjoyed sharing my thoughts with you and anyone else reading our posts. I can’t figure out how you came up with “others know better than you..” from my latest post, but I assure you that isn’t at all what I was trying to say.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your thoughts with me.

I guess the point of ‘others know better than you’ was that what is heaven to some may be hell to others. My limited experience is that people like different things.

Mart Twain wrote that when he asked a minister what Heaven was like, the minister gave a description that resembled learning from G-d and giving praise to him, rather like a church service. Well most men would avoid church services, and so he intended to be enough of a sinner to avoid Heaven.

The doctors said he could live longer if he gave up liquor and read meat. Mark Twain agreed that it would sure seem longer.
