Why clarify.
He said what he said, these “clarifications” just mean “you who read this, did not understand what I meant”
Because people should be able to understand what he stated.
He would be clarifying the misinterpretation from Spanish to English, if we are to believe the Holy See’s explanation about the translation. Which I am inclined to believe. But I wouldn’t call it that. I’d probably call it a correction to the translation, which I think was intentional in the first place.
