Ok then, please demonstrate how these things in Genesis, promised to the individual tribes, for the last days, somehow magically wind up in the church, or in Yeshua.
the Pharisees made the same mistake when Jesus was standing in their midst. they also were looking for a literal fulfillment, not realizing these are spiritual promises which were fulfilled in the person of Jesus Christ and the heirs to the promises are those who belong to Christ. the types and shadows were done away with when the reality came.
But Paul in Col 2 says 'shadows of things TO COME', long after Yeshua's visit here. So what shadows are these, and how are they reckoned differently than the 'types and shadows' in Genesis, being as how, according to your words, the types and shadows were 'done away with'?
And just so I am sure... Yehsua IS YHWH, right? And AS YHWH, His word cannot return to Him empty, right? So tell me then, how these things in Genesis, which were promised by prophecy, empirically declared, without exception or implication, but rather explicitly promised to specific groups, are not 'returned empty' if they are never to occur.

Your statement suggests that you don't believe the first coming to have been a literal fulfillment... Is that what you meant?
