CEBU CITY, Philippines — When calamity strikes, charity crosses religions.

This was the case with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, popularly known as the Mormon Church, joining hands with the Roman Catholic Church to distribute relief goods to earthquake victims in Bohol.

The Latter-day Saint (LDS) Charities, the Mormon Church’s humanitarian arm, has vowed to help Catholics rebuild their Spanish-era churches that were destroyed by the 7.2-magnitude earthquake that struck Central Visayas on Oct. 15

Were any Muslims involved? That explains it. They'd probably finish off the survivers and take the relief goods for themselves, while the mainstream media says nothing.

We can take comfort knowing that there are still good people in the world that we can count on to be there when bad things happen.

Sure, there’s a lot of bad out there. But there’s a lot of good too.

Surely the headline should read, “Atheists helping LGBT groups distribute relief goods in Bohol”.

while the mainstream media says nothing.

Let me correct that. The Media are probably encouraging them.

These people need help—Contact the Red Cross and Donate—if you don’t like Red Cross, donate to Catholic Relief,or the Salvation Army. This is a terrible disaster that happened to allies and good friends.

The Catholic Church’s world-wide network of charity is so large that the U.S. government uses it to disseminate its own charity monies. Been doing so for a long time.

The king of Saudi Arabia makes $1 billion every three days from the petroleum-natural gas revenues. Just too much money. The companies that search, excavate, drill and export pay him for that privilege have a pretty good deal going on with him.
He donates billions all over the middle east and world. He donates even to non-Muslim countries.

If he didn't he would be in trouble from the rest of the "tribes." The royal family never worries about outside assassinations. It has the long-held "tradition" of taking care of "problems" itself.

No, I have no documentation. I lived over there for five years and it's one of the things we heard and read about all the time. Made me queasy.

One thing that made me laugh all the time: the emir of Bahrain would parade on and off the planes and in and out of his tiny country....to the music of "You Took A Fine Time to Leave Me, Lucille." Hahaha, made us all laugh...the dinky emir. Bahrain ran out of money a long time ago.

Side note: my husband and I visited there once and we saw TONY BENNETT. He still had a FABULOUS voice. What a guy.
