I see your point. Yes, let them sit in the pews, but also don’t fail to remind them of the error of their ways. I’m guessing they’ll either change them or soon leave on their own.
The Church is for the healthy and the sick. This woman is complaining that he’s not stroking the healthy, like the Prodigal Son’s other brother.
Francis wants us to fill the churches so they can develop a relationship with Christ. They wont come if you tell them what they are doing is bad (they already know, mostly), but rather if you tell them Jesus loves them and about His mercy...and bring them to the church and let God do the rest.
