MOSCOW, November 4 (RIA Novosti) – The head of the Russian Orthodox Church and senior Russian officials attended the opening of a resurrected Tsarist-era obelisk outside the Kremlin walls Monday.

The monument was originally unveiled 99 years ago to commemorate the 300th anniversary of Russia’s Romanov dynasty, but its Tsarist iconography was removed in 1918 on the orders of Vladimir Lenin and the names of Romanov emperors replaced by famous international revolutionaries.

In the renovated version unveiled Monday, criticized by some architectural preservation groups for poor quality work, the communist-era changes have been reversed.

“Today, an unjust historical action has been set right,” said Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia during the opening ceremony, which was also attended by Culture Minister Vladimir Medinsky and Sergei Ivanov, the head of the Presidential Administration, Russian media reported.

This is what the Tsar thought was a priority while his country was falling apart? You would think after 1905 he might have got some better things to do.

One of the great tragedies of history is that Nicholas II was so, well, stupid. Had Nicholas managed to keep his crown, there would have been no Lenin, no Stalin, and perhaps no Hitler.

What is The bishop of the Russian Orthodox Church doing at the opening of an obelisk?

A phallic symbol, the male organ of Nimrod, the symbol of Satan.

And how was Nicholas to counter all of the wealth of the world’s bankers that was behind the Bolshevik revolution?

And the military might of the U.S. and Britain?

Huh? The US and Britain sent no troops to oppose Nicholas. If anything, it was the opposite. The Western allies intervened on the White (Tsarist) side during the Russian Civil War.

Russia between 1905 and 1914 wasn't exactly "falling apart". It was actually one of the prosperous and free (relatively speaking) periods of Russian history.

Of course, the war brought Russia to her knees and ended the regime, just as it did in Germany, Austria, and Turkey, and would have done in France if the Brits & Americans hadn't been in country.

The Obelisk has always been a representation of Nimrod’s uncircumcised penis.

The US and Britain escorted the transfer of gold to the Bolsheviks.

Interesting. Whose gold was it? And why would the US and Britain do that, while at the same time landing troops to support the anti-Bolsheviks?

If you've got a web link, I'd appreciate it.
