I used to cringe when Kirsten would appear on Fox. She seemed so bitter.

But I have seen a slow growing-change in her recently and frankly have been rather shocked at what I've heard from her...she seems more rational and reasonble...and even ever so slightly cheerful.

I think she will lighten up over time.

I was a former God hater. Forty-three years ago I was mocking and throwing things at an evangelical Christian, who worked out of the same office. In fact I remember spitting in his direction. There is more to this story, but when I first started reading the Bible I read, "They have eyes to see, but don't see. They have ears to hear, but don't hear." As I read deeper in the Word the love of Christ invaded my heart, and convicted me of my sin. I submitted my heart to Christ, and immediately the scales fell off my eyes. It was a mountaintop experience I will never forget.

That co-worker later left to become a pastor in a Baptist Church. One of his favorite sermons is titled, "The meanest man I ever met." That was me. Now I am an ordained minister, and I work in a prison ministry. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing Jesus Christ kick down the cell house doors in Lansing Prison. Yes, Jesus is still alive. I say that based on the evidence I have seen with my eyes and heard with my ears. I testify to this as a former Christ hater,

Powers doesn’t believe in abortions after 25 weeks, like most sane people. But she sees nothing wrong in aborting in the early stages of pregnancy. She is also for sodomite “marriage”. She might be an analyst on Fox News, but’s she’s still a liberal. By the way Fox News is loaded with liberals. Megan Kelly, Sheppard Smith, Bernard Goldberg, all pass themselves off as “conservatives” and they all support sodomite “marriage”. Megan Kelly was the most popular show on Fox last week. Wonder how many of her viewers know she thinks it’s OK for Mary and Jane to “marry” each other or Fred and Tom? Sheppard Smith almost started crying when DADT was lifted, and when the Kenyan was reelected.

She’s an Obamacare supporter too.

There were posters on the RF who believe she is still pro-choice. I don't know. But I do know believers in the NT sometimes get pulled aside and are instructed on what God's Word says. For example is Acts 18:

24 Now a Jew named Apollos, an Alexandrian by birth, an eloquent man, came to Ephesus; and he was mighty in the Scriptures. 25 This man had been instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in spirit, he was speaking and teaching accurately the things concerning Jesus, being acquainted only with the baptism of John; 26 and he began to speak out boldly in the synagogue. But when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately.

Amen brother Gary, Amen. Thank you for another wonderful account of God’s Grace! I can also attest that once He has you, He won’t let you go or get snatched. Amazing Grace indeed!

Your points are noted. Her views will change. A brother or sister in Christ must do what Priscilla and Aquila did for Apollos:

Acts 18:

24 Now a Jew named Apollos, an Alexandrian by birth, an eloquent man, came to Ephesus; and he was mighty in the Scriptures. 25 This man had been instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in spirit, he was speaking and teaching accurately the things concerning Jesus, being acquainted only with the baptism of John; 26 and he began to speak out boldly in the synagogue. But when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately.

Powers is a new babe in Christ, and has not been awarded a doctorate in Christology. I, and a few others, noticed many of her views were starting to change a couple of months ago. Give her time.

Yes. Amazing is The Word.

Yes indeed!

John 1 New American Standard Bible (NASB) 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. 5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. 6 There came a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 He came as a witness, to testify about the Light, so that all might believe through him. 8 He was not the Light, but he came to testify about the Light. 9 There was the true Light which, coming into the world, enlightens every man. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. 15 John *testified about Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me has a higher rank than I, for He existed before me.’” 16 For of His fullness we have all received, and grace upon grace. 17 For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has seen God at any time; the only begotten God who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.

Kirsten started thinking for herself and her former liberal fanaticism began to fade away

And when was that. On October 8, 2013, she wrote: "House Tea Party members are all but breaking out the champagne to celebrate the pain they are inflicting on America. " She also wrote, "Yes, Republicans, the president believes that Iran is more likely to negotiate in good faith than the Republican Party in Congress. Stop proving him right."

Is there any evidence that her fruit has changed? She sounds like another Jane Fonda, faking conversion to eventually attack the church from the inside.

When she switches parties her views have changed. As long she remains a member of the God-less demoncrats and an Obama cheerleader why be concerned with her. Just another liberal, Obama supporter.

that she doesn't seem to be joyful about her newfound knowledge of the truth

Probably because now she has to contend with the large number of positions she holds which are contrary to truth.

God often asks people like this to give up their fame so they can concentrate on their souls. Many of them can't do it.

HAHAHA!! God got another one! Same thing happened to me: just going along w/life & BLAM! THE BIBLE IS TRUE!!! IT'S ALL TRUE!!!; trying to go back or hide, etc.

I was given a bible at 13...Never read it...For whatever reason I always kept it...Fast forward to my 30s...I came across that bible and had an inclination to pick it up and look at it...

Every few days I was drawn back to it...Couldn't understand a thing in it other than what I could get on the surface which comes out really funny at times...This went on for a few months...

All of a sudden my entire world and my health nosedived...All in hyper-drive...

During my previous perusal in the scriptures, one verse stuck in my head...

Mat 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Mat 11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Mat 11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

I got the rest and the burden was all but gone...

My wife and I just quit going to church for no specific reason. Right after new years in 2012, she said to me, “I am going to church today whether you go or not.” I went with her and we were welcomed as if we had been going for years. In March of that year she was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia with a positive Philadelphia chromosome. She passed away May 30 of this year and I thank God every day for leading us to that church and back to him.

You need to tell the Lord she's not born again based on her political party membership. And what if she doesn't want to be a member of either political party?
