Someone who only mocks, feigns being insulted, and restates their position is poisoning the well and not hearing a thing you say. I understand your point but I also understand that it's an attitude that is taken advantage of to just scan your comments for hooks that can be used as a starting point for pretending to be the injured party or repetition.

What's wrong with people being clued in on where someone in a thread stands with regard to Christ our King when they don't make that point themselves?

They don't make the point themselves because doing so would allow people to be aware that while they mention Scripture in their anti-Catholic diatribes they don't accept Christ and the NT even as much as a Muslim does. Don't you think that is something lurkers should be aware of?

Shouldn't people know that someone attacking a particular Christian group thinks Jesus Christ is a fraud? Do you deny or hide the fact that you're Catholic? No, far from it.
