Don’t bother to post part 2
This attitude is exactly what led me to Judaism. It’s the only religion where I was actively encouraged to question and challenge my teachers and they were well trained enough to deal with it. If I ask a Rabbi a question and he doesn’t have the answer, then it’s his failing and not mine for asking.
This openness had led me to trust my Rabbis and trust my faith. G-d made us curious and intellectual debate strengthens faith - it doesn’t demolish it.
