Satan is the accuser and deceiver is he not? What does deceive mean to you?

32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?

That burning they felt while being taught by Jesus is the same one we can feel. The Holy Ghost testifies in the same manor today.

Lots of ways. One way is to get us to deny the communication of the Holy Ghost to our spirits. To get us to rely on our own intellect. If a an evil spirit can convince us to ignore those feelings and promptings of the Holy Ghost it can use our own pride against us.

Once it gets us to where we're bottled up in our own pride to where we can't recognize the prophets that God sends to guide us in these latter days, well, it's got us.

Make sure you don't get snared like that.
