While I agree with the writer’s analysis, the thing I am struggling with is how do Christians respond? Do we fight back, or do we (figuratively, but perhaps literally) let ourselves be fed to the lions, as the early Christians were. I have a feeling we are headed for an age of heavy-duty persecution by a nation that unfortunately has abandoned God and is becoming increasingly evil.
I think the point of no return was reached when the Democrats rejected God on national TV at their convention—rejecting Him 3 times no less in a symbolism that had to be obvious to Christians. Now, certainly our local Democrat Party is controlled by homosexual money and influence, and I would suspect the homosexual influence is at least at great at the national level.

Pray and brace for the worst. We live in Nero’s Rome.

The way they violently screamed “NO!!!!” 3 times makes it clear where they stand. How any discerning Christian could vote Democrat after that is beyond me. Sadly, the GOP seems in a rush to be just as bad.
