Catholics pray to the Blessed Virgin as well as the Saints to ask them to offer intercessory prayers for us. We DO NOT worship Mary, nor the Saints. We ask them to pray to God and Jesus Christ on our behalf. The same as when we ask our earthly friends or family to pray for us.

Yeah right. Let’s see what you say to your “earthly friends or family” then.

Here as an example are some excerpts from a prayer by Pope Pius XII to Mary.

we cast ourselves into your arms
Lily of all holiness
Conqueress of evil and death
Convert the wicked
In your name
before your throne
your altars
You are the glory, you are the joy, you are the honor of our people

You say all that to your “friends and family” ey? Give us a break and understand we can see what it is and is not.

Your religion has proven time and again that it teaches to pray to Mary alone for salvation, for grace, for healing, and every other attribute that is possessed of God alone...

That's what we and God object to and most of you know it...
