I have said repeatedly that it is absolutely impossible to have an intelligent discussion about theology/ religion/ Jesus with a protestant.

We are not so much interested in theology or religion or even philosophy...

We tend to focus on Jesus Christ and his 30+ thousands of Scripture...You ever get into that, let us know...

Well, except for the following verses that Protestants never quote:

"if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector."

"which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth."

Mat 16:19
"I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Isaiah 22:22
"I will place on his shoulder the key to the house of David; what he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open."

Rev 3:7
"These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open."

“Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you."

"So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord."

the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people.

And making a gathering, he sent twelve thousand drachms of silver to Jerusalem for sacrifice to be offered for the sins of the dead, thinking well and religiously concerning the resurrection,(For if he had not hoped that they that were slain should rise again, it would have seemed superfluous and vain to pray for the dead,) And because he considered that they who had fallen asleep with godliness, had great grace laid up for them. It is therefore a holy and wholesome thought to pray for the dead, that they may be loosed from sins.
