Interesting reply:
Who is Rev. Michael Bresciani and why is he so concerned about the Catholic Pope? It’s really noble of him, the world appreciates it, but let him become concerned about his own sect, whatever it is, Jehovah’s Witnesses, 7th Day Adventists, or Scientologists.
So Catholicism is a sect (along with the three you mention, 2 of which are NOT Christian in any way), and the only choices for Bresciani's affiliation is Jehovah’s Witnesses, 7th Day Adventists, or Scientologists?

Again, interesting.

The Pope celebrates Mass daily. What do you mean by “getting rid of God’s word.”???

I think you are very mistaken.

Mass? It’s a tradition of man.

Some people just don’t get it.

The English word rapture does not appear in any of the current English translations of the Bible

Therefore it does not exist?

The English word Pope doesn not appear in current English translations of the Bible, so it is not a valid title using the above "logic"?

They would no longer stay in the Catholic Church if that were true, Sum.

And I am really weary of this battle right now. The deception on this forum is so high I am going to have to leave it for now.

Thanks for your post,

Dear jodyel,

I don't think Brian is in folly. Brian is bright, intelligent, sincere, good-hearted, lots of fun, full of love for the Lord, and filled with the Holy Spirit.

What does that say about someone who calls him a fool?

LOL.

You quite right about that. In my Bible, the term is "caught up."

I understand how you feel, jodyel, but leaving the forum is a victory for satan. If you aren’t here defending the faith, there is one less ambassador here, beseeching the lost to be reconciled to God, while there is still time. Rest, and then come back, refreshed, and waiting to defend the faith that was once delivered to the saints, again.

The combination ‘the Catholic Church’ (he katholike ekklesia)

Again, small "c" needed as the "k" is lower case in the Greek.

The catholic church, universal church.

Made up of all Christians, and started long before Catholicism came into existence (except of course by re writing history to show that "Catholicism" started in the first century.)

"P.S. As an aside, my mother told me she witnessed the death of a friend’s mother, who was Roman Catholic, at her deathbed. She said it was a very hard death with much gasping and labored breathing and much fear. She said the fear in the room was palpable. She said right then she knew that the woman had never accepted Jesus as her Savior and was not going to be with Him."

People who are hurting as they are dying.

This is your "Evidence?" Huh?

This is your grand and glorious evidence. Wow!

By saying there was fear in the room by your mother who is a Christian(?) just standing there not saying prayers for the woman? Huh

I guess that is a real Christian in action?

I have been there too in a hospital. I would be praying with that person on Holy Spirit override.

The simplistic stereotype statement are just may I say Palpable. Yikes. What utter nonsense.

Thank you for sharing those end of life testimonies, dear sister in Christ!

I recall two almost exactly the same. One was a 19 year boy dying of cancer and the other a very old Baptist preacher. Both of them with their final breaths said they saw Jesus.

Closer to home, when both my mother and my sister graduated from this life - when they entered their final coma - I felt their spirits go through me, assuring me that they were very happy and well.

And when my previous husband died we were SCUBA diving off Panama City, Florida, in what is called the "emerald sea" because the water is so green. As you dive deeper the water becomes an ever-deepening blue.

My husband suffered his final heart attack at 15 feet of water and fell back to more than 70 feet. I swam after him as fast as I could and just as I arrived, the water all around him turned a yellow/gold. I quickly stripped his weight belt and took his body to the surface. But it was obvious to me that I had seen his spirit leave his body at depth.

Likewise, all three of these had end of life requests that the Lord mercifully granted to them. Mom did not want a wheel chair or a nursing home and he spared her both. My sister wanted to be employed when she died, and He kept her employed through the day after. And my husband didn't want to become a cardiac cripple (he had a history of heart problems) and obviously he did not as God took him when he was SCUBA-diving.

Other family members had great mercies in their end of life situations. Indeed, one died on the very evening following his birthday party with family and friends. For him, that would have been a blessing.

And I truly believe that Alzheimer's disease is an end of life blessing for the ones suffering from it though certainly a great challenge for the care-givers. My remaining brother is currently late stage Alzheimer's.

Our blessed assurance in Christ comforts us not only in this mortal life but in our passing to the next one. Indeed, we Christians are already "there" even while still in the flesh:

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. - John 5:24

For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. - Col 3:3

God's Name is I AM.

Really...if he were born again and Spirit filled he would not be a Roman Catholic.

But since all you silly, happy, intelligent, sincere, good-hearted, and full-of-love-for-a-false-lord people believe it, it must be true.

I’d say that probably makes you full of folly as well.

You can have great qualities and be a wonderful human being and still not be born again and filled with the Holy Spirit. Many good people on this planet with great qualities are still going to hell when they die.

And none of you would recognize righteous anger if it hit you between the eyes! So go on with your happy go-lucky, gosh, gee whiz, sweet, kind, lovely-hearted false gospel. Because it really does speak to what you want most from life and that is to be good and loved by others and seen to be godly....when in reality you are not saved, worship at the altar of a false religion, and are nowhere near the Lord Jesus Christ.

I would much rather be seen as I am, a sinner saved and covered by the blood of Christ than to have a goodness that sends me straight to hell.

Run back to your church then, all you Pollyannas. The rest of the team can deal with your saccharine selves cause I’ve had enough of your foolishness and ignorance to last a lifetime.

OH, how beautiful, Alamo-Girl. As you shared your experiences with us, I’ll share my husband’s death with you all. He had leukemia, and almost died the first night we took him to M.D.Anderson. He was in CCU for 15 days, not expected to make it through. But he did. Then came the bone-marrow transplant. And he was not expected to make it through. But he did. And then, when we thought all was going great, he developed J.C. Virus, a virus that attacks the brain and for which there is no cure. We knew he would not make it through that. So we prayed that God would be merciful to him, in his last days. And He was. Gary wanted to come home to die. And they allowed him to. He could not speak, but he could hear. And he heard Scripture, beautiful music, and the voices of all who loved him. God took him after 3 weeks of this virus. It was a peaceful passing and the last words he tried mightily to form was “love”. I am convinced of that, and so is his son. God is so merciful in His grace!
