I toured one of the concentration camps in Germany. I believe places can be possessed. There were no birds. Nothing alive. It was very, very unsettling.

She was definitely an "innocent looking" hottie back in the day...

For that, you can consult a priest and get some Holy water and sacred salt, or whatever.
Yes, I agree with you! Years ago, I purchased some sage once to burn (to cleanse our new turf of any bad vibes), and was corrected quite quickly by a stronger [more knowledgeable] Catholic than me. I then put up a St. Benedict medal over the door, and that made clearance. :)

This is all BS. All they have to do is hose down the patio and they should be good to go.

I won’t be all botoxed and puffed up at 65.

That’s the rub (sorry for that pun). I suggest sage for secular, medicinal uses; but some New Agers have decided to apply spiritual properties to it, and thus the problem with Catholicism.

By comparison, I’m sure that at some point, some Muslim declared the Vatican to be the 237th most sacred place in Islam, so Muslims rightfully own it. Catholics, however, are free to ignore any spurious spiritual claims made on the Vatican, and continue to enjoy its Christian spirituality.

Thus, they should also feel free to ignore any spurious spiritual claims made on God-given herbs, and feel religiously free to use sage in their cooking, and for its genuine medicinal properties.

It wasn’t for nothing we used to call her Olivia Neutron Bomb, she was darn cute. IIRC she had cancer and that can take a toll. I think for being 65 she is holding up well.

There is a netflix streaming documentary series titled The Haunted which shows investigations into how animals react to spirits. In several of the cases a Catholic Priest performed both a house exorcism and a blessing to get rid of, and keep out, the evil entities. It is a good show but not for the faint of heart. People were bitten, scratched, burned, stabbed, and beaten by some of these spirits.

The traditional prayers to bless holy water contain an exorcism.

They also add exorcised salt to the holy water.

Exorcism of Water
O water, creature of God, I exorcise you in the name of God the Father almighty, and in the name of Jesus Christ His Son, our Lord, and in the power of the Holy Spirit. I exorcise you so that you may put to flight all the power of the Enemy, and be able to root out and supplant that Enemy with his apostate angels: through the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who will come to judge the living and the dead and the world by fire. Amen.

Mark 5:1-20. Jesus chases a spirit(s) out of a man into a herd of pigs. If those demon(s) could inhabit those pigs, they would be able to exorcised as well.

Thanks for the words of the exorcism of water. I had inadvertently paraphrased this in one of my taglines:
