They are spiritually alive, you're right...but they are not omniscient nor able to hear us. They are in a state of eternal bliss; nothing concerning this world affects them.

Can you imagine? A believer dies and goes to heaven then is still involved in the pain and suffering in this world? Thats what Catholics would have us believe. And they think that saints become omniscient like God. Its straight from Satan who wants to be like God.
