They share in the divine omniscience, as I mentioned in my explanation of Luke 15:10 and Luke 20:35-36.

“St. Someone” can’t answer your prayers, but can pass them along with a greater degree of righteousness. And as I demonstrated in the post, with God, the prayers of the wicked are ignored and the prayers of the righteous are effective.

Of course we should pray to God. We should never lose sight of Him, lest we damage our personal relationships with Him. However, like I’ve mentioned, the prayers of the more righteous are more effective, so if we urgently desire our requests to be fulfilled, it couldn’t hurt to invoke the intercession of a heavenly saint.

Luke 15:10 does not prove “divine omniscience” at all. Its as if there are 30,000 people at a concert and the guy on stage makes an announcement. Then, all 30,000 know it. But if one of the 30,000 makes an announcement, no one hears. The saints are in the crowd.

So, if the “wicked” pray to a saint, then God will answer them. But, if a good person who is not yet perfected prays to God, he will ignore that person? Is there scripture that backs up the idea that saints use a discernment process to decide who’s prayers they pass up the chain of command?

This whole idea just reeks of idolatry.

They absolutely, unequivocally do not!

But you will not understand this until you learn the meaning of what constitutes a biblical saint. And only the Holy Spirit can show you this.

“it couldn’t hurt to invoke the intercession of a heavenly saint.”

Indeed it could cause great harm when prayers to dead people go unanswered and cause one to be discouraged. As Spirit-filled believers, we have access to God’s throne thru Jesus. We may come into the presence of the great I AM because of what Jesus has done. And I certainly would NEVER trade that for anything!

Please, guys, wake up!! You are missing out on the best relationship ever because of your need to cling to what is comfortable to you. God wants your soul, your spirit to be one with His and the only way that can ever happen is to let all this dogma go and surrender to Him. Just like Jesus, I am pleading with you to surrender and come to Him just as you are!
