That is, you do not cite the Scriptures to prove your point, but other English sources which have no relationship to the Greek texts. There were no cathedrals in the first century gatherings; the believers were happy to meet in homes, market places, and river sides. The edifices created by Rome are simply self-aggrandizing structures more aptly related to the egos of men.
