I chalk it up as jealousy that they can trace their sect starting within the last 400 years or MUCH LESS....started by mere men breaking away from the ONE, TRUE CHURCH that was established by Jesus to Peter. We have to PRAY for them.
My experience has been the diametrical opposite: Protestant sermons (even the most "fundamentalist") rarely, if ever, mentioned Catholicism, while almost every Catholic publication (plus the tracts in the back of the church) were full of attacks on those awful "fundamentalists." Does believing the Book of Jonah is historically true violate some big church law?
Really? Attacks on fundamentalists in church bulletins and “tracts”? Wow. All I remember is the adverts for the local funeral parlor and the marriage bans.
