Yes, the Catholic Mass resembles the eternal heavenly worship. These scriptural descriptions of divine worship should not seem foreign to Protestants.

In the Mass, Christ, acting through the person of the priest, makes present the sacrifice of Calgary, offering Himself to the Father, under the appearance of bread and wine. In this moment, our earthly worship is united with the eternal heavenly worship.

It’s a beautiful teaching. And true.

I hope that you join us some day.

I hate auto-correct

There is no replacement for Christ on earth. Scripture does teach that the anti Christ will try.

>> These scriptural descriptions of divine worship should not seem foreign to Protestants.<<

What makes you think I am a “Protestant”? Are you so narrow minded as to think that anyone not a Catholic is a Protestant?

>> In the Mass, Christ, acting through the person of the priest,<<

Scriptural proof of that concept please.

>> makes present the sacrifice of Calgary, offering Himself to the Father<<

Christ did that once for all time and not to be repeated. Catholics evidently believe when Christ said “it is finished” He wasn’t serious.

This describes eternal heavenly worship and it DOESN'T resemble the mass.

Revelation 4:2-11 At once I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne stood in heaven, with one seated on the throne. And he who sat there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian, and around the throne was a rainbow that had the appearance of an emerald. Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and seated on the thrones were twenty-four elders, clothed in white garments, with golden crowns on their heads.

From the throne came flashes of lightning, and rumblings and peals of thunder, and before the throne were burning seven torches of fire, which are the seven spirits of God, and before the throne there was as it were a sea of glass, like crystal.

And around the throne, on each side of the throne, are four living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind: the first living creature like a lion, the second living creature like an ox, the third living creature with the face of a man, and the fourth living creature like an eagle in flight. 8 And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes all around and within, and day and night they never cease to say,

“Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!”

9 And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to him who is seated on the throne, who lives forever and ever, 10 the twenty-four elders fall down before him who is seated on the throne and worship him who lives forever and ever. They cast their crowns before the throne, saying,

11 “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”

Revelation 5:8-14 And when he had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And they sang a new song, saying,

“Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.”

Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the living creatures and the elders the voice of many angels, numbering myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice,

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!”

And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying,

“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and might forever and ever!”

And the four living creatures said, “Amen!” and the elders fell down and worshiped.

Revelation 7:9-12 After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying, “Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever! Amen.”

In heaven, Jesus is seated on HIS throne.

Hebrews 10:12-18 But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, waiting from that time until his enemies should be made a footstool for his feet. For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.

And the Holy Spirit also bears witness to us; for after saying,

“This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws on their hearts, and write them on their minds,”

then he adds,

“I will remember their sins and their lawless deeds no more.”

Where there is forgiveness of these, there is no longer any offering for sin.

Christ does NOT act. He made HIMSELF ONE sacrifice for ALL on The Cross - It IS Finished. Only satan does not want IT finished because he would still have power - and he doesn't - only the power you give him. So catholics are giving him power whether they are smart enough to know it or not. Get over it - or reap what you are sowing - and that is NOT BELIEVING JESUS that It is Finished. Being deliberately disobedient to the WORDS of JESUS is honoring satan. You can't serve two masters. Either Good/LIFE or Evil/DEATH, catholics made their choice to serve evil.

It’s a beautiful teaching. And true.

It's a demonic teaching and it's only true to those who follow demonic teachings.

the Catholic Mass resembles the eternal heavenly worship.

More deception from The DECEIVER for those who can be easily deceived because they do not know TRUTH Who is JESUS The Word. When destruction comes, catholics have no one to blame but themselves and they are as guilty as THE DECEIVER.

I hope that you join us some day.

No way, Jose. I left that counterfeit church, a worldly organization, in the dust.

As for me and my house, we will serve The Lord. Amen!
