Lord. You guys are having a hard time remembering these days. He even said “Merry Christmas”. I am surprised that you have been desiring this from the President. I really wouldn’t care if he said, “Merry Christmas” to me or not but I guess you really want it from him. Well your wish has come true. I went thru SERE in 1968 - I have no idea what they do now.

The intent then was to teach people to live off the land while on the run, e.g., ants are edible - I tried them but decided they weren’t worth the effort.
