Could also be a priest of this world who possibly bilocated. In an old book of mine, Off the Beaten Trail, there's a story of Franciscan Priests encountering Native Americans who had built altars, wanted Mass, and had been catechized. The Native Americans described a lady in blue who came from the sky to tell them about Jesus.
At the same time, Mary of Agreda, was telling about her encounters with her Copper Skinned Brothers. She bilocated from her Convent in Spain to New Mexico and Texas over 500 times.
