From the article:

"All along the way, her foremost request is for people to pray and to pray out loud," she said. "We would like nothing more than to carry that message forward for her."

I have just said a prayer for Katie Lenz, and I hope other Freepers will consider doing so as well.

Did they say how they knew it was a “Catholic” priest? The reason I ask is ministering angels have often appeared out of nowhere to accomplish miracles for the glory of God. Most of the time, they disappear as mysteriously as they appeared. I’ve had several such encounters and it has ALWAYS been done to bring glory to God and NOT the messenger.

“The Hannibal Fire Department showed up right after that prayer with fresh equipment and was able to finish the extrication.”

Doesn’t sound like much of a miracle to me. The one set of tools didn’t work, then they got another set and it worked.

Now if they prayed, and the door just fell off, that would be a miracle.

Whether it was a priest as an angel or an actual angel, he was an angel to all those and to Katie."

My money's on an angel.

Thanks for posting this wonderful story.

(BTW, if anyone is in need of a miraculous cure, and is looking for a healing priest, check out Fr. Aniello Salicone. I have met people who were miraculously healed of cancer by him, and have had him lay hands on me. He's the real deal. Unfortunately, he has a very limited web presence, but you can probably get in touch with him through the Fatima Shrine in Holliston, MA, or the Xaverian Brothers in Franklin, WI.)

The remarkable thing to me is that the traffic was blocked off for a quarter mile each direction. There really shouldn’t have been any access by the public to the accident scene. And a priest would have been very noticeable (and identifiable) walking past the cars that were backed up in both directions behind the barricades.

Looking at the highway there’s nothing but soybeans and corn on either side, so if the priest didn’t walk past the backed up traffic he had to come out of the tall corn to not be spotted. Sounds almost like Shoeless Joe Jackson and the Black Sox walking out of that Iowa cornfield well over half a century after the Series.

If not an angel it’s still a remarkable story.

Prayers for Katie and her family.

Great Stories!. Very encouraging.... Love it. Praise Jesus! My Own Brother had Brain tumors. He was at Duke Medical. He was so exhausted and frustrated by the “chemo’ he fell off the table. He was alone he could not carry himself. He stayed there awhile just hurt for awhile. He finally cried out. A man just came in scooped him up like nothing. The gentleman put him on the table. He stayed and prayed with him. Then my brother had a great spiritual peace. The gentleman told him his name. Later when his wife found out she wanted to Thank the man. He was in the hospital outfit. Nobody but nobody knew him from records or personal encounters. God comforts in our suffering. Praise Jesus! AMEN.
