Now I don't deny that these gentlemen look a little silly, but it doesn't seem to be sinful. Is there any reason this dancing couldn't be for the Pope, God, Brazil and all God's children?

May husband and I sing in a shapenote group which some join in for folkloric, and some for devotional purposes. Probably, for most of us it's unanalyzed, some of both. We say we sing "For God, and for each other."

It may be tuneful. It may be woeful. But is it wrong?
