If the media were even moderately neutral, that would be true.

Unfortunately, the media hates the Church and will do anything (absolutely anything) to place Her in a bad light and, if possible, destroy Her.

They will twist and misstate whatever the Pope says. If necessary, they will make stuff up. Pope Francis cannot speak carefully enough to avoid this, no matter what he says and no matter how rested he is.

I agree with you 100%. The truth is the truth, and trying to present it in a way that will please those who hate the truth is wasted effort. Just say the truth, and anyone who genuinely seeks after truth will be drawn to it.

We have full transcriptions of everything available with a click these days. Nobody has to give a blip’s worth of attention to what the Enemedia says.

Agreed, but it is better if the pope does not give them a "head start" by engaging in off-the-cuff Q&A sessions where imprecise and incomplete use of language is more common than not.
