You are probably not familiar with Dr. Scott Hahn, but please read his story and tell me what you think about it. Thanks.

No, I know about Scott Hahn. I find it difficult to believe anything someone says who willfully lets go of eternal security - having the assurance from Holy Scripture that justification is by grace through faith - in favor of a religion that can only sorta, kinda promise it. But I have read some of his work.

It's funny though how this thread is about a former Roman Catholic priest who left Catholicism for "Protestantism" and he was immediately attacked by FRoman Catholics as the spawn of Satan - something that any mention of former Catholics finding faith in Jesus Christ gets regularly voiced here. For example, I've linked to articles from William Webster, also a former Catholic, and some here refuse to even read the article because Webster left Catholicism. Yet, I don't recall any non-Catholic Christian disparaging guys like Hahn or Madrid or Staples because they left "Protestantism" (and I use that term in quotes because it is a basically meaningless euphemism for anyone who is a non-Catholic Christian). I haven't refused to read things these guys wrote when others post from them. I don't automatically spurn them. I will read their words, but I have yet to find their arguments persuasive enough to make me want to return to Roman Catholicism. I won't, I already know the truth.
