In addition, it holds that national revelation was not carried out. With Judaism, God revealed himself to all the Jews at Mt. Horeb. With Christianity, God became man and walked amongst us and revealed himself to us. If anything, it is a polytheistic version of Islam.
While they may be right on discipline, they are wrong on faith.
Also the Old Law did not encourage the death penalty. It merely permitted it with a large number of regulations that made it difficult to carry out. A court that put someone to death more than once every 70 years was considered bloodthirsty.
