Wouldn’t Labour win as a result of stupid actions like this from Cameron.

Why? Labour is even farther to the Left. Besides, I'm not convinced that most Britons are so unhappy with this policy that they would turn anyone out over it.

That having been said, Labour might very well win the next election, largely because Cameron's government has failed to turn around their economy.

Only because I think Labour is bigger party than UKIP. Don’t get me wrong, the UKIP sounds the best of the British political parties I know of but I’m not familiar with how big and powerful it is.
