Psa 12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
Psa 12:7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
That statement excludes anyone in your religion from having any authority dealing with what is or what isn't scripture...We can be sure we have the scriptures in spite of your religion...
