Unfortunately you cite a Bible verse referring to those who died before Christ.

The question I have for you - is if you sincerely believe that the children of God would not be left leaderless, how do you cross that 15 hundred year gap between Christ and Luther? I’m curious.

Oh; the same way you guys say that BAD leaders don't matter...

Pope Stephen VI (896–897), who had his predecessor Pope Formosus exhumed, tried, de-fingered, briefly reburied, and thrown in the Tiber.[1]

Pope John XII (955–964), who gave land to a mistress, murdered several people, and was killed by a man who caught him in bed with his wife.

Pope Benedict IX (1032–1044, 1045, 1047–1048), who "sold" the Papacy

Pope Boniface VIII (1294–1303), who is lampooned in Dante's Divine Comedy

Pope Urban VI (1378–1389), who complained that he did not hear enough screaming when Cardinals who had conspired against him were tortured.[2]

Pope Alexander VI (1492–1503), a Borgia, who was guilty of nepotism and whose unattended corpse swelled until it could barely fit in a coffin.[3]

Pope Leo X (1513–1521), a spendthrift member of the Medici family who once spent 1/7 of his predecessors' reserves on a single ceremony[4]

Pope Clement VII (1523–1534), also a Medici, whose power-politicking with France, Spain, and Germany got Rome sacked.

God often chooses mere human beings to act as "go-betweens" in the communications between God and other human beings, and anyone who would deny that would be foolishly and willfully ignorant (and wrong).

MY question is WHY would HE need to do that?

Angels are dead persons now? Your theology needs serious work.

Remember, you said you serve a god for the dead - so metmom's and born again Christians theology WILL BE different that yours as it is based on God's Word ALONE and they are no longer children of the dark who serve a god for the dead with his man made words.

At their first meeting, Christ told Simon that his name would thereafter be Peter, which translates as "Rock" (John 1:42).

Nope.

I have already provided biblical PROOF that Simon was already known as Peter.

Why does the RCC deny it?

Jesus would clearly be guilty in Luke 9:29-31.

Uh; I do NOT see Jesus PRAYING to these 'dead' men...

Luke 9:29-31

29 As he was praying, the appearance of his face changed, and his clothes became as bright as a flash of lightning.
30 Two men, Moses and Elijah, appeared in glorious splendor, talking with Jesus. 31 They spoke about his departure, which he was about to bring to fulfillment at Jerusalem.

Your point is, what?

You seem to ask this a lot...

Both of those prayers mention some sort of intercession and ultimately request responses from God Himself, so they don't prove your point:

St Michael: "by the power of God"; St Mary: "implore your intercession".

"Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Blessed art though among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen."

That is the reality of being a saint, that GOD does HIS MIRACLES through them.

That is how God works.

And if I choose to somehow QUESTION such a blanket statement I'm a doofus.

I’m curious if they would claim all of the popes are in heaven?

But thanks for the confirmation that Catholics DO pray to others besides God FOR things.

For they are children of the dark so their beliefs are based on 'man which is evil'. They refuse to believe that because they are deceived. We recongnize it because we serve The Almighty Word of God.

They have to want JESUS The Word as their final authority otherwise they will never find HIM because He makes Himself known through HIS WORD.

Jesus walked out from some because HE knew what was in them.

"Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them." Eph 5:11

We are to preach the gospel and they already heard it but rejected it and chose 'another gospel' - the 'gospel according to man' instead - so on to the next.

We already saw posted here....they chose death for their god is the father of the dead and not LIFE for JESUS the WORD is The Way,The Truth, The LIFE.

"This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you LIFE and DEATG, blessings and curses. Now choose LIFE, so that you and your children may live. Deut 30:19

They hear not and they obey not.

Still doesn’t answer the question...

How do you cross that 1500 year gap?

I would also argue that if one only follows the “Our Father”, one could only pray “TO” the Father and not “TO” Jesus.

“That’s the catholic god, their father the devil, who they serve by man made teachings.”

If the Catholic church is the spawn of the devil - which church can I find God?
