Is it only the living that can pray intercession for others?
Big distinction — they knew Christ in person and carried out his plan to save the world by traveling from India to England and everywhere in between.
They were the first Bishops of the Catholic Church.
Because he was a very rich Gnostic like so many others...
Marcion's list left out most of Luke and the rest of the Gospels...It left out Hebrews and Revelation...And he left out many verses of what what left...
True. "Our Father who at in Heaven, hallowed be Thine name," not Mary..
Note that the Latin and Byzantine canons differ slightly, while it is hard to believe there is much to be added to what has already been shown re the canon, and even repeated, like in,

Have a God night.
1 Pet. 2:25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
Ecclesiastes 9:5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. 6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun.
Their souls, too?
Thank you for those very useful links!
Christianity is my religion...Jesus Christ is my Savior...And my Savior says, 'Do not put one human above another, or esteem one above another' as your religion does...
WHICH dead are being described?
Note: “under the sun.”
Again, there wasn’t an apostolic canon.
Contrary to the strawman often used, SS does not exclude everything else, as Scripture actually provides for things such as reason, nature, the church etc. as Westminster affirms. The "sola" refers to Scripture being alone as the infallible standard for faith and practice, with its sufficiency existing in the formal ore material sense. See lengthy response to this here if you want: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/religion/3034405/posts?page=484#484
So your response to my honest question, “where can I find the Church of God”
is to mock me? I see.
Which apparently means you believe Jesus is merely man.
They have nothing to do with what is happening here. Read the verse again. Want to question what God said? Take it up with Him.
“Im going to have to stick with what the Jews actually claimed to believe.”
So which is it? Did, or did not the Jews write the LXX?
“they believed based on Christian copies of the LXX which arent even all the same.”
Question. What’s the oldest manuscript of the LXX extant?
They no longer have anything to do with what is happening here on earth. AKA they dont here your prayers and cant do anything about what happens. They are not omniscient, omnipresent nor are they active in what transpires here on earth (under the sun).
God Himself is obliged to abide by the judgment of His priest, and either not to pardon or to pardon, according as they refuse or give absolution
