Who says Liturgical sanity has been restored?

They could go a long way in restoring sanity if they stopped using music that seems designed to appeal to 10-year-old girls and instead used music that was designed to be sacred.

Amen to that. Our parish has (if I do say so myself) spectacular music. Chant (Gregorian, Anglican, AND Sarum use) - polyphony all the way back to organum and the Paris School, Josquin, Palestrina, Victoria, Byrd, Tallis, Weelkes (a personal favorite), Schutz, Haydn, Mozart, and the better moderns. Just to name a few. Huge repertoire. And our music director can play anything - Buxtehude, Fauré, Handel, you name it. DMA from Juilliard in organ performance.

When I go to almost any other parish it's usually extreme culture shock.
