Actually it is his theologian,I reread the article....but still I would like religious institutions to stand up against this idea that individuals have to essentially condemn themselves to homosexuality.
Likewise I didn’t mean to imply that the Vatican was full of homosexuals,just that it hadn’t dealt or spoken with the secular world in terms that lay could both understand and benefit from.
He was appointed by Benedict XVI. We’ll have to see if he remains in his position...I’m not sure how that works with popes.
I know that Benedict XVI spoke out about gay marriage/homosexuals, but I have yet to see Pope Francis do this (unless I missed it).
