Why has the content of the Holy Bible been changed?

Which passages specifically have been changed. We have the manuscripts from which we have our translations and can easily go back and correct any mistakes/intentional errors.

So, which passages were not translated correctly?

Lou brings up a very good point - Biblical manuscripts exist from with to make Biblical translation corrections. Without the "golden plates", no such pre-translated manuscript is available for the BoM. Any corrections to the original BoM translation must therefore made up out of whole cloth.

So if I wrote my own translation of the Bible, you would accept it? Yes? No? Whenever men rewrite the Bible, they introduce changes in the meaning and impact, whether it is intentional or not. Why so many variations / translations if not for the reason that some men think they can improve upon the original words or they believe that the original is not socially correct for modern times?
