There already is another actual temple there.
A temple to satanallah.
If that's not an abomination I don't know what is. Where ever sharia goes desolation follows.
I think it's been there staring at us this whole time. John had a really tough job. Putting down on paper in mere sentences what obviously took several thousand years to witness. Trying to fit time travel into a linear view is not something I'd care to do.
The current fascination with zombies/dead coming back to life, seems like a bit of societal conditioning. They will be resurrected. How shocking will that be?
That is interesting, the Dome of the Rock. But that took place quite a while ago. It’s very easy for me at least to get overwhelmed with the details.
About zombies, I dunno. They are clearly mythical creatures and meeting an actual zombie would scare the pants off of most people. I see it as a symbolic preoccupation with the effects of evil, and maybe even God’s way of saying that hey, without Me you might as well be a zombie.
Good point. I think we can also sympathize with the Apostle John in trying to describe, in first century Jewish culture, all the things he saw with the only words he knew. How does such a person describe helicopters, for example? Wouldn't they look like flying locusts with mens' faces and fire shooting from them?
