Of course, Beck is also supposed to come out with some big news within the next 24 hours. So, I don't want anyone to think I want to discredit anything that will be good for us. He's done a lot of good in his research for us, especially back in his Fox days... but, don't get too enamored with him, as there are parts of his ideology that are deadly to the soul.
The Crybaby jumped the shark and has been trying to milk it ever since. He’s done.
Next?
... if this is true, Beck will loose his radio following quickly ...
Thanks for posting. I went to the linked site and it was very informative.
By the way, I really like your FR handle. Funny!
Interesting. In the wake of 9-11 I heard a Baptist theologian refer to Islam as “stone age Mormonism.” His comparison of these two aberrant religions was fascinating.
Oh goody you spread the sand I'll fire up the cement mixer!
When Glenn starts preaching, begging or pleading I shut his show off. Usually takes him one hour. No problem for me.
Just because Beck occasionally has a good idea is no reason to follow him. He's a clever talker, as is Satan.
I'll have mine over easy with a side of grits.
I don’t know how to post videos onto FR).
I have listened to Beck, as i have listened to the other talk show hosts for no other reason than getting filled in on the news as i have no TV and would not believe half of what the news media says any way.
I do not listed for spiritual reasons, what i want to know about that i find in the Bible
I agree that when ever the topic gets on the subject of our salvation which is in Christ if they do not say the exact same as we can read in the scriptures we need to turn them off.
As far as the future is concerned God tells us all about that, we may not all agree on what he is telling us but we are not going to change it what ever it is.
On a related note, one of the things that turned me off Beck was his repeated reference to “Gandhi, Martin Luther King, and Jesus” as three MEN who changed history.
While I disagree with his religious beliefs, I admire the fact that he refuses to join the chorus that says "all religions are the same, so it really doesn't matter." Unfortunately the very nature of conservatism as it exists in a multi-religious society pushes it toward this position. Essentially theological positions (eg, no "gay marriage") have to be justified with non-Theistic arguments, which is to miss the entire point of having Divine commandments in the first place. This can lead to either a mushy ecumenism or a utilitarian civilizationism.
I myself may be the only member on this forum who doesn't condemn islam because it believes it is the only true religion and must conquer and vanquish all others. I don't understand how any religion can believe otherwise about itself. Yet we have post after post after post celebrating the accursed "enlightenment" and urging moslems to embrace Thomas Jefferson. Islam is wrong, but not because it isn't "liberal" enough.
Wish Walid would consider Noachism.
He might want to look into the Primitive Baptists if he can deal with no missionary activity and the belief that oodles and oodles of people who were never chrstians in their lives may be among the "elect."
I have read a good piece of the Koran and I did not come out thinking it was a “religion of peace”! It was Christianity up-side-down in many ways. Glenn is a Mormon so maybe they have a different idea of peace. I don’t think it’s that extreme, though.
Chrislam is probably a project of the Mormon church leaders and they are using Beck to promote it. Catholics and other Christian churches are doing it, too. It is based on deception!
I guess they all missed the fact that since the “moderate Muslim Brotherhood” has taken over nations, Muslims are murdering Christians by the thousands?
Anybody who SERIOUSLY equates Islam with any other religious system, extant or extinct, has a serious reality problem and should seek treatment quickly.
