The only other time this word for "desire" is found in the Bible is in Gen. 3:16, when Eve is told that she will have desire for her husband, and the word תְּשׁוּקָתֹֽו has the implication of a craving (the word in Haggai's "desire of the nations" is different, meaning something pleasant to desire). We belong to Him because of the price He paid to redeem us from death and the power of the devil, but He craves us, and will move heaven and earth to be with us; it is never His fault that we have sclerokardia and would rather go our own way.
What about Genesis 4:7?
