it is the same sacrifice that we become part of across time Why does the church require you to continually be part of the act of sacrifice since the scriptures say Christ died once for all?

Why does the church require you to continually be part of the act of sacrifice since the scriptures say Christ died once for all? One more time: your fundamental error is confusing the death of the sacrificial victim with the offering of the sacrifice. If a priest in the Jerusalem Temple had just slaughtered a Lamb or a bull & walked away, he would have just made a bloody mess, not offered a sacrifice to God according to the regulations set forth in the Law.
