"Michael Voris once again hits the nail on the head with this above video. The problem with America, the problem that will soon be its demise, is that it was founded on religious pluralism. That works up to a point, but once that point is reached, it starts to implode on itself.
That's because the inclination of human beings is to eventually take an argument to its final and most natural conclusion. For most people, this happens subconsciously. Their attitudes simply change over time, and more often than not, they are at a loss to explain why. For those of us who think for a living, contemplate and ponder, the reason is plain to see. When you accept the notion that religion really doesn't matter when it comes to important things in life (like who your leaders shall be for example), then it's just a small leap to the mindset that religion really doesn't matter in your own life either."

China is booming.
Unemployment there is our old-style 4% or so.
We have sold out. Bring back American businesses.
I have been hearing different conflicting stories, slowing down, not slowing down. Give me the facts please and post articles!
Did some search and there are different answers. Here is an article I did find:
It may not be booming as you think.

It's pluralism now, is it? In a 2010 video, Voris claimed America was doomed to fail because it allows stupid people to vote. Voris starts out calling them uninformed, then moves to "societal parasites", and finally calls them a "cancer to be eliminated". What is Voris' prescription for America's ills? Eliminate the cancer, by changing to a "benevolent dictatorship" of Catholics running America. From that video:
There's an inherent problem with democracy. Actually, it's definitional. It's this: everyone gets to vote. That's right, EVERYONE gets to vote. Consider for a moment: the informed get to vote, those who have studied the candidates and issues, and consider the impact not only on themselves but the society at large. But in addition to the informed, the ignorant get to vote as well, those who have studied nothing and don't care about anything except themselves and their own narrow interests....Does anyone else get the idea that Michael Voris wants to hasten the fall of the American Republic?....societal parasites will cast their votes in such a way that will only hasten the destruction of a nation. It's like a cancer destroying its host. It enjoys ravaging the body, until the body is dead.
The cancer must be eliminated, and the only way to prevent a democracy from committing suicide is to limit the vote to faithful Catholics. Only a true Catholic nation in fact will survive, can survive, because only truly Catholic people will be the ones looking at God & not staring in the mirror. When they cast their their votes, they cast them with an eye to what God desires, not fallen human nature. But as the body politic continues to be ravaged by the cancer of ignorant self-centered voters, it becomes more and more clear that a national euthanasia is occurring.
But in truth, this is really the way the whole idea of democracy is little less than an experiment doomed to failure from the outset. Eventually, the evil in the heart of man overtakes him, when he dismisses God. No, the only way to run a country is by benevolent dictatorship. A Catholic monarch, who protects his people from themselves, and bestows on them what they need, not necessarily what they want, who protects their rights as human beings....
Sorry I’m responding to your article, not advancing a political position.
I do however know we need to bring back American manufacturing, and China makes a whole heck of a lot of stuff, which we in America buy.
A lot.
If you choose to enlighten yourself of that, please do so.
There is not a lot of material out there on China. But we run a massive trade deficit with them. Go in any story, and you will find rack after rack, of things every one, which say “made in China”.
Our entire manufacturing base is moving to China. China is now the largest exporter in the world.
Yet nobody wants to talk about that.
Democrats. Republicans.
Nobody.
Old school traditional Catholics often say the only God approved government is a Catholic Monarch.
Of course if you bring up the story of Saul and God’s warning to Israel, you get a blank look...
You got it. It is the taxes that do the most damage.
The only royal king in Israel that God ever approved of, was of David, but remember, he was a man after God’s own heart.
Taxes, overspending, you name it!
Because of total denial.
By all means. (I can think of one former FReeper whose tagline was Texan. Catholic. Monarchist. (or something along those lines)).
But what did Israel have before this monarchy?
Bingo.
Power was not united in one man, but spread out.
More similar (in some ways) to how the Holy Roman Empire was supposed to work. One executive head, who was appoint by various semi independent executives. Power was not supposed to be so centralized that one man or group could bend the others to their will, but centralized enough that the common trend of the mob to vote itself bread and circuses was removed.
I miss that Texan guy. He was fun to talk to.
There were other good kings. Not many though. Most were pretty horrible.
Who appointed those Judges?
(Also, they were chronological more than parallel).
If you actually read the book of Judges, you might be interested to see how well they worked out.
The people asking for a king was not completely out of the blue.
Case in point, Gideon. He ended very badly, and his songs were worse.
Typically start to the sections were “There was no law, and men did as they saw fit”.
Still, the warning that was given about what a King will do to you was true. Israel had no king, but they held together. When they had a king, the two kingdoms split with in a few generations.
Got it.
If you have a people (and leadership) who largely live by the teachings of Christ, I figure that it doesn't really matter what form of government you have.
If you have a people (and leadership) who largely ignore the teachings of Christ, I figure that the form of government won't help much.
Sadly, we are in the second scenario right now.
It appears Michael Voris would agree with Pope Pius and syllabus of errors.
I believe this is the same Pope who called protestants, pests and declared himself infallible.
The problem with the judges (who were appointed by God) wasn’t that they worked out poorly. It was that the people couldn’t/wouldn’t remain faithful to following God. Once things got bad enough, they cry out and God would have to rescue them and try to set them right. One would have thought they would have got the message. Instead, they decided that if they had a king they wouldn’t even have to cry out to God. The king would solve their problems.
How typical.
