Other similarly chartered organizations include the USO and the VFW, for example. As far as the BSA or GSUSA goes, a primary point of the charter is that no other youth organizations may use "scouts" or "scouting" in their name. Those words are reserved to those two organizations. The corporation has the exclusive right to use emblems, badges, descriptive or designating marks, and words or phrases the corporation adopts.
