Indeed, and yet when you hear Keith Porteous Wood, executive director of the National Secular Society, saying the decline of Christianity is “inevitable.” and that “In another 20 years there are going to be more active Muslims than there are churchgoers,” he said. you can almost hear the glee in his voice. He is right incidentally. Christianity, as it has existed in Britain for the past 1500 years or so is quite definitely finished.
