21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. 22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth. Is this saying I shouldn't have something that might tempt another? It almost sounds like Buddhism, or Hinduism, where a person's value is based only on what they do for others.

I am not a biblical scholar but it seems you may be misreading this. What I get out of it is if what you want to partake of is another's weakness, don't partake in front of him to tempt his weakness. An example would be to not drink in front of an alcoholic. 22 Seems to say to have God in your heart and do not condemn another for his beliefs.

It is not our place to condemn anyone . . . just to deliver the mail.

“He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God” (John 3:18).

Without Christ, a man is condemned already . . . by God the Father Himself. It is only by being in Christ through faith that God sees a sinner through the blood of the Son, and no longer condemns the sinner.

“22 Seems to say to have God in your heart and do not condemn another for his beliefs.”

Try to find that statement in islam... anywhere but in the practice of Taqiyya.
