Romans 14 is simply not teaching liberty of belief in all things, but contextually is dealing with areas in which the Christian has liberty. They do not have liberty to be gluttons, but do have freedom to eat clams, though overall care for the body also calls for a healthy diet.
But did not Peter get a vision showing a sheet with animals coming out of it and with these words, “go, kill, eat”, close to that from Acts of the Apostles?
