The problem with that is that Scripture is not sufficiently self-interpreting so as to prevent contradictions and endless schisms within Sola Scripture adherents. A prime example is that you will not get consensus, let alone unanimity, from among Protestants, that Sola Scripture means what you say it means.

I think that is largely due to ignorance of the Torah, and is the main reason why the Torah, and the Tanakh are still beyond all price. When one understands that it cannot be changed, what has been said cannot be unsaid. Ergo, that which is said last must be weighed against that which was said first, as what came first cannot be changed. A whole lot of dogma turns to ashes using that paradigm.
If the Bible is a yardstick, then the Torah defines the inch and the foot.
And in that, I accuse both yours and mine, and myself as well. It cannot be your way, or my way. Unity and Truth are found in the way of YHWH.
