I find it ironic that Catholics INSIST that Jesus was literally talking about eating his flesh and drinking his blood yet conveniently forget that he also said if one does this, he will never hunger or thirst. Selective interpretation, maybe?

Very selective. Word by word, phrase by phrase, all within even on sentence. They can’t even take a whole sentence literally of figuratively.
