This means therefore that Fr. Musaala because of the publication of his article in the public media which damages good morals of Catholic believers and further expresses a wrong teaching against the Catholic Churchs teaching and that this stirs up hatred and contempt against the Church, he incurs a Ferendae sententiae penalty as prescribed by Can.1314. This means that Father Anthony Musaala is suspended from celebrating sacraments and sacramentals, from the powers of governance in accordance to the law of the Church Can.1335 and1336§1n.1, 2and3 as investigations are being carried on. All about the guy doing the exposing and not a word about disciplining the offending molesting and raping priests.
I guess that means that making the church look bad is a greater offense to Catholic clergy than the sin that the priests participated in.
Pathetic.

From Abp. Lwanga's letter:
"Above all, the Church takes seriously the allegations in this article. On behalf of my fellow Catholic Bishops in Uganda I wish to assure the public that as leaders of the Catholic Church in Uganda; we are committed to the protection of the minors and rights of everyone. Investigations about these allegations are to begin immediately with of course cases that are proved."
Again, your objections are based on a false premise.
Your entire line of argument is ridiculous.

Pathetic indeed but not surprising or out of character. One only needs to look at the comments from Catholics here on FR. Invariably the response is that there are others who do the same thing or in some other way try to deflect. Just looking at the comments on this thread it becomes obvious that protecting the organization comes well ahead of condemning the practices of leadership. Pathetic indeed but incredibly sad at the same time. The number of people deceived by RCC is horrendous saddens the heart of any true Christian.
