The HuffPo is gleefully reporting a story about a homeless man's stunt that attempts to shame people into giving him money.
In the picture, which has since gone viral on Reddit and Imgur, the man, who appears to be homeless or transient, is sitting on a sidewalk and holding a sign that reads, "Which religion cares the most about the homeless?" Arranged in front of him are eight small, plastic bowls and a hat, each labeled with different religions and filled with varying amounts of change. Although we can't say for sure how much money is shown in the photo, the bowls labeled "atheist" and "agnostic" seem to be the fullest.
Typical lib mindset. Money = caring.
Which cares the most?
The one who dropped in a note that said, ‘Get a job!’
I’d have given him some advice.
How does he correct for stratum sizes?
If 95% of the passersby are atheists, then the atheist jar is likely to have the most.

My grandfather, a devout Catholic, was an engineer on the NYC RR. Each day when he pulled the train into Grand Central Station, he would drop a few coins in the basket held by a nun. On one occasion, the train arrived late and he saw the nun walking out of the terminal. He followed her and was taken aback to discover her climbing into the rear of a limousine, as she pulled off her veil. Turns out, she was a man feigning as a woman religious. He was quite bitter over having been tricked in such a manner.
He is lucky he isn’t a Seihk. They would clean him up, sober him up, and give him a JOB! If he wanted it or not!
2 Thessalonians 3:10 For even when we were with you, we used to give you this order: if anyone is not willing to work, then he is not to eat, either.
Get off the sidewalk you lazy bum and get a job.
True charity is not twisted into a contest, run by those who’d benefit from that charity.
If I do give the recipient will know there's no other reason.
They are paying him to be homeless? That doesn’t sound very Christian.
Religion does not give anything.
This “experiment” is a crock of excrement and means nothing, it is a scam.
A local news channel did a report which showed the people asking for money on sidewalks weren’t homeless and took in hundreds per week.
This guy looks well groomed and healthy. It looks like a stunt.
We all know that anecdotal evidence trumps fact now, thanks to the libs at HuffingGlue...
I had a similar experience in New Orleans years ago. I watched a street musician play for a few minutes with the normal container for change. As I was walking away he bent over and I saw a cell phone in his back pocket. Mind you this was when cell phones cost $400 or #500 hundred a month.
A note in the Christian bowl, “Accept Jesus Christ and live for Him and your treasure will be endless.”
Upon further review, his clothes, shoes and bags all appear to be in good shape. He doesn’t look like he’s missed many meals, invested several dollars in different colored markers, a roll of tape, paper, Subway sandwich, an Iced-Tea and has several other signs in the pack on his right, etc.
This might as well say “Who is the most easily fooled?”
“What is “good” to an atheist? I never know how they come upon their definition. So many simply seem to adopt so much from Christianity in defining good.”
It’s funny, I just read this from an atheist artist yesterday, talking about his influences:
“and perhaps most significantly and despite my staunch atheism, these three words:
Do unto others...
Jesus stole that line I bet.”
So, even when they adopt what they recognize as good from Christian morality, they do it begrudgingly, and seek to avoid giving credit if they can find a way.
